Paintings are also concerned with power and their relationship with culture. I use language as a symbol of culture. I approach my subject matter as a generator of ideas and as a form of statement that challenges the established knowledge in relation to contemporary issues. Some of the present paintings are related to visual and aesthetic languages. I have designed pictures, based on multiple images that give the choice to display the work in different ways. Creating compositions and engaging the viewer presents a range of aesthetic decisions.
