The installations are concerned with power and its relationship with culture. Elements such as design and architecture are very much part of them. Repetition, transformation, destruction, deconstruction are only some of the concepts used. I attempt to involve a variety of media and materials, from big wooden structures to small paper sculptures to reflect the contrast between the permanent and the vulnerable and ephemeral. Indirect lighting is always an intrinsic part in all of the installations, together with sound in some of the work.
